Car Seat Buggy 2 in 1 - Combos That Are Easy to Use
Car seat buggy 2 in 1 combines two of the most important pieces of baby gear: the infant car seat and the stroller. It makes it much easier to get on and off public transportation (and walk up and down stairs).
Doona's infant car seat and stroller combo is a fantastic choice. It's the only fully integrated travel system in the world that allows you to switch from the car seat to the
stroller rocker 2 in 1 without causing disruption to your baby.
Easy to Use
Car seat and stroller combos that are easy to use are essential for parents. These travel systems make it easy to switch between running errands, walking the dog, or going for an exercise. You can also keep track of the changing needs of your child so you can take your family on adventures. These travel systems glide smoothly and effortlessly, regardless of whether they have a front wheel or two. The Thule Urban Glide
2 in 1 baby pram Combo and the BOB Alterrain Pro combo are especially easy to move however, the Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo can be pulled easily with a single hand.
Certain models are difficult to attach or detach from the base, however. The Doona Combo, for example requires a two-step attachment process and straps that slide over the infant carrier's bottom portion. It's tempting to skip the steps, but it could result in unsafe results.
In the same way, some models are difficult to fold away and store, which makes them less convenient than others. The Graco FastAction 3-in-1 Car Seat Stroller, for example, is difficult to fold due to its huge dimensions and bulky frame. Some testers are also disappointed by the canopy on this model disappointing. However the Britax Parkway Click and Go Combo is easy to fold using pulling an lever and the push of a button. This model is also a good choice for parents who are planning on using their car seats on other vehicles because it is able to be easily removed from the base and reattached to any standard stroller.
Easy to Fold
Whether you're storing the car seat on its own, in the trunk of your vehicle or even in a closet, it should be simple to fold and unfold. The best combos we've tested come with an easy, one-handed fold that's compact and strong enough to be used for long walks. They're also easy to maneuver, gliding smoothly over uneven surfaces and bumps. We've seen a few combinations that can only be attached or disengaged using straps which can be a hassle and make it difficult for parents to ensure that the car seat is secured properly.
The BOB Revolution Flex Combo is an excellent choice due to its robust construction and practical features, including a huge storage bin that is accessible from the back or front. SafeCenter LATCH, an exclusive feature of the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo, makes it easy to install car seats by connecting the lower anchors and securing the straps.
It's also relatively lightweight, making it a great option for frequent travelers or families with multiple vehicles. The Baby Jogger City Mini GT 2 Combo and the Thule Urban Glide 2 have also scored highly in our ease-of-use tests. Both come with one front wheel that's easy to push (one-handed! ), as well as an swivel front wheel that can be swiveled that's perfect for shopping and running errands. The only issue is that they're heavy and may be difficult to lift when carrying a child in the car seat.
Easy to Assemble
Some car seat and stroller combos can be difficult to assemble. We found that the UPPAbaby Cruz v2 Combo was one of the easiest to build, and it even comes with a quick-start guide that makes putting this travel system together a breeze. Other models, including the UPPAbaby Minu and UPPAbaby Vista V2 Thule urban Glide 2 and Baby Trend Snap-N-Go EX Universal were also relatively easy to assemble. In contrast, the BOB Revolution Flex 3.0 Combo is difficult to put together as it requires two steps to assemble - attaching the lower anchors and using straps that go over the bottom of the carrier. It's also heavy, and it takes two hands to secure the carrier into the base and detach it from the base.
In our tests it took us around 5 minutes to put the UPPAbaby v2 together, which is a bit quick when you consider the time it can save by not having to remove all of the individual pieces. The toddler seat can be attached and removed with ease on most of these models.
